Walking (not yet!) and "Big Girl" seat :)

Sorry I haven't updated the blog in (what seems like) forever! Life just gets busy and then before I know it, 3 weeks have passed! I have taken a TON of pictures lately though, so I'm planning on posting often in the near future to make up for it!

Chloe turned 13 months today, and she still isn't showing much interest in walking. I'm in no hurry for her to take that extra step in mobility, but I still try to hold her hands and "practice" with her frequently. As you can see from the pictures below, she gets a kick out of it! :) These pictures make me laugh just looking at them! We're having so much fun with her right now at this age....although I realized that I say every age she reaches is the "best age" :)

Right after her first birthday, we got her a "big girl" carseat! I got used to seeing her completely filling out the infant seat, so she looks like such a peanut in it! So cute! It's so nice, too, because now I can actually see her, talk right to her and give her things (juice, toys, etc) in the car!

I hope everyone had a nice Memorial Day Weekend. We spent it at the lake with my parents. I left me camera at home, so Mom has all the pictures. I hope to get her camera card and post those soon, too!

Dress up!

For her birthday, Chloe got lots of fun tutus, angel wings, wands, tiaras and other sweet things to play dress up with. One morning last week, I had a ball trying everything on her. I think the whole experience was way more fun for me than it was for her! :) She was very "busy" playing with her new gifts and didn't want much to do with the camera, but I had to get a few snapshots of her all dolled up! So cute! Thank you everyone for all her sweet gifts...we are ALL enjoying them! ;)

Oh, and I had to share this last picture from our day of playing beauty shop a couple of weeks ago! I meant to post this earlier and completely forgot. I STILL cannot believe my child let me do this to her hair! So fun!
