Walking (not yet!) and "Big Girl" seat :)

Sorry I haven't updated the blog in (what seems like) forever! Life just gets busy and then before I know it, 3 weeks have passed! I have taken a TON of pictures lately though, so I'm planning on posting often in the near future to make up for it!

Chloe turned 13 months today, and she still isn't showing much interest in walking. I'm in no hurry for her to take that extra step in mobility, but I still try to hold her hands and "practice" with her frequently. As you can see from the pictures below, she gets a kick out of it! :) These pictures make me laugh just looking at them! We're having so much fun with her right now at this age....although I realized that I say every age she reaches is the "best age" :)

Right after her first birthday, we got her a "big girl" carseat! I got used to seeing her completely filling out the infant seat, so she looks like such a peanut in it! So cute! It's so nice, too, because now I can actually see her, talk right to her and give her things (juice, toys, etc) in the car!

I hope everyone had a nice Memorial Day Weekend. We spent it at the lake with my parents. I left me camera at home, so Mom has all the pictures. I hope to get her camera card and post those soon, too!

  1. Good for you for not stressing out about Chloe and her walking! I wish I could have had your attitude! Hannah didn't walk until 14 months and I was soooo worried about her.

And I agree that every age is the "best age"!

  2. Lauren's right, that's the right attitude to have. I stressed about it too. I stressed about everything though until they walked. I'm such a teacher though, and I would make individual goals for them and we'd spend 30 mins, 3x a day working towards the goals! Yuck! My kids are going to hate me! She's so cute as always. I agree again with Lauren, shocker, that every age is "the best age!" That'll probably be the case until they are about 13 (years old). Oh, and I love the carseat pattern! We have Britax too! Love them!
