Pigtails and Crewcuts
Last weekend, we took Chloe for her first haircut! We went with our neighbor, Joy, because she was taking her son, Caden (who is about 7 weeks older than Chloe), to get his first haircut too! We all piled in Joy's van and went to the cutest little kiddie haircut place in Buckhead called Pigtails and Crewcuts. It really is a neat little shop - they have old pedal cars up on stands for the kids to sit in, TVs, toys, lollipops and all kinds of things to try and entertain the children while they get their hair done. Chloe picked the airplane to sit in and even with the TV, a Dora book, and a lollipop, she still boo-hooed big crocodile tears the entire time. She did a lot better than I expected, but she just seemed pitiful. :( Thankfully, the whole thing was over in about 10 minutes - the stylist trimmed her hair about 2 inches and layered it from her chin to her shoulders. Then she put Chloe's hair in pigtails and let her pick a toy out of the "treasure chest" to take home! Of course, our girlie girl picked several bracelets :) We were very proud of our girl. Here are a few pictures of the event. Sorry they aren't very good...Chloe was sitting by the window and there was a lot of sunshine coming in on her face.

So stinkin' cute! We have one of those down the road here in Cumming. I still haven't gotten the girls' hair cut yet. I'm waiting as long as I can. But, when I do, that's probably where I'll go. Her haircut sounds so cute. I love your first picture. Very good job! Those classes are paying off!
