Baby News! :)

We are SO excited to announce that Chloe is going to be a BIG SISTER!!! We made the announcement to our families last Sunday (April 25th) at Chloe's 2nd birthday party! I had this shirt made for her to wear when everyone arrived. It was so fun to watch our parents and siblings and the looks on their faces as they noticed her outfit and what it said.

I am about 13 weeks along and Baby Shaia #2 is due this Fall on November 11th! We had our 12 week check-up appointment this past Friday and everything looked great. We had the First Trimester Screen/Nuchal Translucency test done, so we had another ultrasound and got to see the baby again. Normally, at our practice you only get ultrasounds at 8 and 20 week appointments. I absolutely LOVE getting to see the baby and watch him/her move around around on the screen. While we were there, Jeremy was asking Terri (the ultrasound tech) if she would be able to determine the sex of the baby this early. She told him there would be a slim to none chance, but that she would look and see. Sure enough, she says she would definitely have to guess that it is another little girl! Not a definite, but right now it looks like we'll have another little lady at our house soon! We'll find out for sure in a couple of months. We are thrilled! God is so good, and we are so incredibly blessed to have another healthy baby on the way. We can't wait to meet him/her in just a few short months!

We wanted to wait until after our 12 week appointment to tell friends and extended family, so the past couple of days has been so much fun for us! Chloe really doesn't know what's going on yet, but I'm hoping in the next few months it will start to make sense to her. :) I think we're in for a big adjustment, but I think she will end up being a very sweet and loving big sister!
